With the spirit to achieve one of the KPP's missions "to provide smart working environment, benefits and career development to employees", the Kick off of the Project Document Management System (DMS) and Network Enhancement were done on Tuesday, April 6th, 2010. The Event was attended by the management of the companies which are partners of KPP in the project, among others, like PT Astra Graphia, Tbk (AGDS), PT Astra Graphia Information Technology (AGIT) and PT Bina Pertiwi (BP), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors, Tbk.
The event was begun with presentations by the DMS teams from KPP, AGDS, and AGIT. By promoting the motto "Towards KPP Smart Working Environment through Astra Strategic Synergy", this simple event has run solemnly, with the spirit of synergy of Astra Group to attain the KPP' vision.

The project Document Management System emphasizes on the centralization of the corporate document management either in the form of hardcopy or softcopy. Through this project, it is expected that the company's documents can be managed uniformly, orderly and safely; therefore, a better productivity can be achieved from the easy access to the documents from the computer screen, which says 'just type document keyword and document software will display the document for you'. In near future, this project will be applied to all departments either at Jakarta's office and sites.
In this April, KPP will implement the Network Enhancement at three sites, i.e Rantau, Port Sei Putting and Tanjung Alam. By connecting these three sites (including the pit and plant workshop) with the wireless fidelity, the data traffic up to 10 Mbps can be established. The Network Enhancement provides infrastructure support networking to expedite the access to the applications (DMS, Ellipse Application, Lotus Notes, File Transfer, KPPweb) and anticipates the development of applications and technologies to be developed by KPP in the future.
