PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP MINING) was established in 2003 as part of a strategic development within the mining services industry under the Astra Group, through PT United Tractors Tbk and PT Pamapersada Nusantara. KPP MINING operates as an integrated mining contractor, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, occupational health and safety, and environmental sustainability.
Since its establishment, KPP MINING has demonstrated a solid track record and proven expertise in supporting coal and mineral mining operations across various regions of Indonesia. Leveraging extensive experience and the application of advanced technologies, KPP MINING has consistently contributed significantly to meeting the nation’s energy needs.
KPP MINING operates more than 1,000 units of heavy equipment, supported by over 10,000 competent professionals and advanced, technology-based management systems to ensure efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible operations. Its services cover the entire mining value chain, including overburden removal, hauling, and the management of supporting infrastructure.

KPP MINING initiated a new mining project in collaboration with Indexim Coalindo, marking a strategic expansion of its operations.
New hauling and mining projects have been launched in Central Kalimantan for Adaro Group and PT Asmin Bara Bronang PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), as well as in North Kalimantan for PT Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk., strengthening the company’s regional operations
New mining projects were initiated with PT Binuang Mitra Bersama, alongside additional mining projects in South Kalimantan, further expanding its operational footprint.
The year 2017 marked the commencement of mining operations at PT Insani Baraperkasa (IBP) and expansion into joint port operations with PT Surya Jalur Anugerah in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.
Mining operations continued to grow in 2018 through a new project at PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN) in South Kalimantan.
KPP MINING continued to expand its mining operations by securing a new project with PT Tawabu Mineral Resource (TMR).
KPP MINING expanded into mineral mining through a new gold mining project in Sumbawa with PT Sumbawa Juta Raya (SJR), while also commencing a coal mining project in Lahat, South Sumatra in collaboration with Priamanaya Group.
KPP MINING accelerated its portfolio growth through a nickel mining project in Southeast Sulawesi with PT Stargate Pasific Resources, alongside the launch of a new coal mining jobsite at PT Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM).
A new mining project in Sumatra was initiated in 2024 in collaboration with PT Abadi Ogan Cemerlang, expanding the company’s regional portfolio

He began his career at PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) before joining KPP MINING in 2017. Prior to his appointment as President Director on March 26, 2024, he served as Director of Business Development & Supply Management and Vice President Director. In his current leadership role, he directly oversees Engineering, Business Development, Supply Management, and ICT functions across the company.

Since 2026, he has been leading KPP MINING as Operation, Plant, SHE & HCGS Director. His career progression within the company includes key executive roles such as Plant & ICT Director (2019), Plant & HCGS Director (2020–2022; 2024–2026), and Plant, ICT & HCGS Director (2023–2024).

He currently serves as Director of Finance, Accounting, Tax & Budget, Corporate Planning Management Development, Internal Audit & Risk Management, and Legal at KPP MINING, a role he has held since March 26, 2023. Prior to his current appointment, he held key executive positions within the company, including Finance & Supply Management Director (2018–2019), Finance, Accounting, Tax & Budget & ICT Director (2020–2023), and Finance, Accounting, Tax & Budget Director (2023–2024).
As part of the Astra Group's integrated business ecosystem, KPP MINING operates under PT Pamapersada Nusantara and is ultimately owned by PT United Tractors Tbk., the parent company of the Astra Heavy Equipment, Mining, Energy, and Construction (AHEMCE) business division. This strategic position strengthens collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth across the mining and heavy equipment value chain.
